We went to the Zoo after spending most of the day in Munich, Germany. It took us a while to

find the entrance, eventually we found it. The first animal that we saw were flamingos. the enclosure was decently large and there were at least 30 flamingos in it. Most flamingos in the enclosure were actually white and light unsaturated pink rather than darkish saturated pink people usually think flamingos are. This is because flamingos get their pigmentation from eating krill and other small aquatic arthropods. To prevent the flamingos escaping and flying away there was a giant net like dome around them, so oxygen could pas but they can’t. After passing the flamingos, we went into the reptile and monkey area. In the reptile half there where a hand full of snake enclosures, as well there where a lot of tropical fish ones that had archer fish and other fish from the amazon. There was a turtle tank that had what i first thought was a statute of a small caiman, but later during our visit it turned out it was a real one, wich was confusing to me because i thought the little croc would eat the turtles and fish. In the same area of the zoo there was and enclosure with some chips, wich didn’t really interest me. The gorillas didn’t interest me either (all of the enclosures where big enough for these animals). Neer by there was an enclosure for some monkeys wich i did want to look at, afterwards we walked of to the aquarium bit, there where lots of fish. there even where two small sharks.
