Our map

During the year we made a world map starting with a white cardboard board. First we painted it with glue and covered it with 3 layers of blue tissue paper and then with tiny holes we marked the outline of the continents. Then we cutted pieces of green tissue paper and filled the continents with two layers of green tissue paper. We let it cool for some time and then we grabbed sharpies and outlined the continents.

Finally the map was done and we added information from the world, we made some info cards. I made 16 cards:

• About Charles Darwin and how he invented the theory of evolution

• About the chinese dragon and how they are one of the most important creatures in that culture.

• About orcas of how they live and their size and weight and what they eat.

• About the Wendigo and how they are corrupted people of winter.

• About harpy eagles, where they live, what they eat and their size.

• About the demigod MauÏ and how he lassoed the sun to have more daylight.

• About emerald-boats, their size and weight and where they live.

• About Cleopatra and how she ruled Egypt.

• About the komodo-dragons, how they hunt and their size.

• About how the Spanish brought pigs to the american continent and how pigs can destroy ecosystems.

• About jaguars, their size and weight, how they hunt and where they live.

• About the Thylacine (tasmanian-tiger) , how they lived and their size and weight.
