Coke #3

For this experiment we will need the following materials: a full Coke can, a clear glass

and some salt, and if you don’t want to get too messy a platter or tray. We start by pouring the Coke into the transparent glass, then we put some salt inside the glass with the coke. Immediately, there will be a huge explosion of foam! This happens because there is carbonic gas diluted in the Coca-Cola (CO2) and when we add the salt in the coke, the CO2 molecules in the coke are attracted to the surface of the grains of salt making them to rise to the surface pushing in this process the liquid above them, making the brown foam.

Para este experimento se necesitan los siguientes materiales: una lata de Coke llena, un vaso transparente y un poco de sal, y una bandeja si no quieres ensuciar mucho. Comenzamos sirviendo la lata de Coke en el vaso transparente, luego agregamos un poco de sal. Instantáneamente va haber una explosion de espuma! Esto pasa porque hay gas carbónico (CO2) diluido en la Coca-Cola, y cuando agregamos la sal a la Coke, las moléculas de CO2 en la coke son atraídas hacia la superficie de los granos de sal haciéndolas subir a la superficie empujando en este proceso el líquido, creando asi la espuma marrón.

Pour cet experiment on a besoin des matériaux suivants: une canette de coke pleine, un verre transparent, du sel et un plateau si tu ne veux pas faire trop degas. On commence par verser la canette de Coke dans le verre transparent et en suivant nous ajoutons le sel. Instantanément il y aura une explosion de mousse brune! Ça se passe car il y a du gaz carbonique dilué dans le Coca-Cola, et quand on ajoute le sel à le Coke, les molécules de CO2 dans le Coke sont attirées à la surface du sel, et alors le sel monte à la surface pousser le liquide qui se trouve au-dessus d'eux dans ce processus, créant la mousse brune.
