Munich Zoo🦒

When we got to the Munich Zoo it was amazing. We took a map to figure out where to go. The first place was the flamingo enclosure & it looked beautiful. All the flamingos looked different. Some had black & pink wings or white/ black wings or pink. Did you know flamingos aren't actually pink? Is because some flamingos eat pink krill. Eventually if they eat too much they become pink. That is why white flamingos have no pink on them, they don’t eat too much krill.

We went to the world of Primates and we saw three Gorillas. Also there were other primates as orangutans & also we saw a mandrill.

Then we went to the reptiles zone which had lots of snakes butI saw only two.I saw a caiman & told my brother. He did not believe me because it did not move. We saw another one but that one neither moved, so my brother still did not believe me. We saw a huge black scaled snake and other reptiles.

After that, we went to the aquarium. Went down the stairs to look at the fish. We went down & found lots of fish. There was a huge tank with two small gray sharks & a moray eel & other fish. We saw a type of long shark that was cute with scorpion fish or other known as the lionfish, they are extremely poisonous & only live in the great barrier reef in Australia. They are also an invasive species to South America. We saw a super small fish at the bottom and also saw a pufferfish.

We started going up the stairs & got back on the road. We started going & saw monkeys swinging & got to the Elephant house. It was absolutely majestic. We saw them eating in their enclosure. We got up the stairs to get a better view & it was great. We started going down the stairs & getting out.

We started walking again & arrived at the Tortoise house where there were lots of Tortoises. There was an amazing giant tortoise. And finally we arrived at the reason I wanted to go to the zoo, we arrived at the red panda enclosure. It was amazingly cute & we took a lot of pictures. There are only 10,000 left in the world because of deforestation & are extremely endangered. They only eat blossoms, flowers & bamboo, a red panda's lifespan is 15 years.

We needed to get back home & found a way, through the galapagos penguin enclosure, then the tiger enclosure & the aviary. We got to the penguin enclosure & they were adorable but we needed to get back on track so we got to the tiger enclosure & it was almost impossible to see the tigers. We finally saw one & it was huge. It went into the water because it was a hot day. We took pictures of it & started going to the aviary.

When we were in the aviary it was huge. When we got in we saw a few purple ibis and started walking & started seeing different types of ducks & then we got to a part with scarlet ibis. They are similar to purple ibis but red. The ibis is a bird in africa that is illegal to kill for one of the egyptian gods has a head of one. Then we saw different ducks & got out. We started walking back to the start & saw llamas. We continued & saw wallabees. Wallabees are a small type of kangaroo & are cute & we took a lot of pictures. We started walking on the road again till finally we arrived at the exit. Then we got into the car & left..
