I just came back from Chicago and it was awesome! I really loved that city. There was so much to do and see, I didn’t want to leave.
First we went to the Museum of Science and Industry. It was my favorite one because there was a real submarine and lots of fun things to try and learn. Then we visited the Field Museum and I saw a huge T. rex🦖 skeleton🦴 named Sue. The dinosaurs were very interesting.
We also went to the Shedd Aquarium🐟 and I saw octopuses🐙, sharks🦈, and fishes🐠 I never saw before. It was a bit dark inside but very cool.
In the city we visited Millennium Park and I saw the shiny bean (it’s actually called Cloud Gate but I like saying the bean better 😄). We walked a lot in Grant Park too and we even went to Lincoln Park Zoo🦁, which is free and has lots of animals.
One day we did the Architecture River Cruise. It was on a boat and we learned about the buildings. The tour was long but the skyscrapers🌁 were really amazing.
For food, I tried the deep pan pizza🍕 at Giordano’s. It’s very thick and cheesy, I could only eat one slice but I wanted more. We also went to Magnolia Bakery and I had banana🍌 pudding, best dessert ever! In Chinatown I got bubble tea🥤. It was really good.
We took the bus🚌 and metro🚇 to go around. I like using public transport in big cities, it feels like an adventure.
I really wanna go back to Chicago one day. It’s one of my favorite places now. There's always something cool around the corner and it never gets boring.
